Sheffield United sacked David Weir on Friday and will be playing their first match since then. Chris Morgan took over towards the end of last season and takes caretaker charge for this match too and the Blades will be hoping he has the same effect here. After winning their opening match against Notts County, Sheffield United have incredibly picked up just two points in their nine games since so confidence is likely to be low.
Sheffield United had a massive upturn in form when Chris Morgan took control last season and he could inspire the same from his side again. This won’t be an easy match because Coventry are going ok but the home side are way too short for my liking here. Although Coventry have the better form coming in I think that goes out the window a bit with Morgan taking over and I like a small bet on the Blades at a big price.
