Leicester go into this match as the even money favourites, but they aren’t exactly in superb form at the minute. Although they are unbeaten in four now they have only won one of those matches and that unbeaten run came after a very poor run indeed which has seen them go from automatic promotion favourites to fighting hard to make the playoffs. Nigel Pearson has a fully fit squad to choose from which is vital.
Watford have surprised everyone this season but they have gone off the boil over the last month or so which means their win over Blackburn last week was perfectly timed to restore confidence. Matej Vydra was named Championship player of the year last month but he hasn’t done an awful lot since then which would be a concern for the Hornets. John Eustace is a doubt for this match with a back injury.
There’s way too much at stake to pick a winner in this match and both sides go into the game in pretty dodgy form too so that makes it harder to pick. One thing I do think we’ll see is a few goals as both sides are better going forward than they are at the back and with what is on the game it may well turn into a bit of a cup tie.
