It’s now or never for Djukic. Word is that if Valencia fails to secure three points in this one he will be sacked. After the terrible performance against Swansea they are under a lot of pressure from the fans and they will have to approach this match with a very offensive display knowing that only the victory is acceptable. Against Swansea both Jonas and Pabon were placed at the bench and I expect both of them to join Postiga in the attack line tomorrow. Both are dangerous players and capable of scoring. Apart from the first game of the season, against a depleted and defensive Malaga, all of the other official matches from Valencia were over games. In the last four matches they have conceded 3 goals in each one of them as their midfield is very soft and the defense is erratic and provoking silly mistakes when pressured as we could see against Betis.
Sevilla despite having showed some good performances especially against Barcelona is currently in the last position of the table with only 2 points. It’s also a must win game for them if they want to improve their position and reach Europa league qualification spots as soon as possible. Apart from the away match against Levante all of their games this season ended over as a result of a system of play that privilege attacking and creative players. Two of their most important players Rakitic and Gameiro played only a few minutes against Estoril last Thursday and they should be back in the starting XI. For several weeks from now they miss several of their CB (Carriço, Fazio and Pareja) which makes their defensive line much weaker than normal.
I expect a very entertaining game between two teams full of quality players in attack and weak defences. If we consider the fact that both of them will fight for 3 points I can see some goals in here. My call: 2-2
