Blackburn had all sorts of problems off the field last season but they seem to have settled down for the time being which should be beneficial to all concerned. Tommy Spurr and Tom Cairney have come in during pre-season and both will make their competitive debuts for Rovers in this match but DJ Campbell won’t feature as he has damaged ligaments and faces a spell on the sidelines. Jordan Rhodes is a goal machine and Rovers fans will hope he has his shooting boots on here.
Pride Park hasn’t been an easy place for visiting sides to go in recent years but Blackburn won their last season and whether they win there again this season I’m not sure but I think they can get some kind of result out of the match. They will always be competitive with Jordan Rhodes up front and his goals can see the visitors get something from this game.
