Weird Belgian rules mean these two now play best –of –three relegation playout and every single game in this contest is going to be a dogfight. As the first one which ended as 1-0 win for Beerschot.
Now, Cercle are under pressure and as result they have fired their coach and his deputy Lorenzo Staelens took over. Now, Staelens was waiting for this chance for years and I think he could be important factor that could turn the tide for Cercle. They are a Club that played Jupiler League for years and this season, they managed fantastic Cup results (they will play Cup finals against Genk!). So, they do have potential and managerial change could spark a good streak.
On the other side Beerschot are poor the whole season long, they have problems scoring and qualitywise I simply cant see them as stronger of the two teams. In the regular season, Cercle won their home fixture 3-1 and for sure they will try to repeat this result.
I expect reply on the home side, they will tie this fixture, my call is 3-1 again!
