Arles is currently just one place and just one point above the relegation zone. They are well aware of the importance of this match. However, it is not easy to play under pressure. In the last round Arles suffered a 2:0 defeat from Angers. I suppose that defeat spoiled the atmosphere in the team. Arles played four matches in 2013 and have only one victory.

Monaco is the best team in League 2. At the moment they are second, three points behind Nantes, but with this match to be played. So, a victory here will see them sharing the top. They are also in solid away form, winning the last two matches on road.The coach Claudio Ranieri has good and quality players. The top scorer Ibrahim Toure is in excellent form, he has scored 16 goals so far. Even more, three new players signed for Monaco during the January transfer window: Mounir Obbadi from Lens, Emmanuel Riviere from Toulouse and Carl Medjani from Ajaccio. The Russian owners want to create strong and competitive team for the next season, hoping Monaco will play in League 1. For this match Ranieri has Sebastian Ribas and Andreas Wolf sidelined due to injuries.
Monaco is also better team in the last mutual games. Three of the last four matches between two teams finished with Monaco wins.
