Nancy
take a huge breath of air, surviving somehow in last 2 games. After being down
0-2 against Brest at HT they made a very good second half leveling at 2; after
travelled at Valenciennes and took an important win 1-0 after another good
display against a team who attacked from the very first minute. Good game but
somehow lucky win, Valenciennes having couple of good chances to level at 1; But
true is also Nancy had at least 6-7 shots on goal. A win for Nancy who increase
the lead between them and playout spot at 5 points. Still without a main coach
and still without a win at home in last 7 games. 1st GK Jurdren is back in the
squad.
After
a heavy domination, Quevilly lost their 3rd game at home 0-1 versus Chateauroux.
Had more than 60% possession of the ball, created good chances but not inspired
day for Quevilly strikers. And with a single point won in last 3 rounds,
Quevilly remains 2nd rock bottom in table with only 19 points. And keeping in
mind what such difficult schedule they have till the end, perhaps their chances
to survive are low. Still few games versus teams from the lower part of the
table and some wins here could make possible overpassing Bourg and a playout
double against 3rd from National.
Important
game in the bottom of the table. With a win here Nancy will increase the gap
between them and 18th spot. They shown some good signs of recovering of shape
and against inconsistent Quevilly should be able to take a win. First win after
4 months of poor results at home? Hope so!
