In
round 12 of the Superliga Sonderjyske welcomes Midtjylland. The odds are droping
on the visitors and it is because of a few reasons. The hosts were in terrible
form before the break while the visitors finally got going.
Sonderjyske
is the 11`th team of the league with only 11 points gathered so far. From the
last 7 matches they have picked up just 4 points from 4 draws, others were lost.
The hosts have been really poor on the travels but don`t give up easily playing
at home. At home Sonderjyske has 1-3-1 but again droped points against weaker OB
2:2, Horsens 2:2, Randers 0:0, Helsingor 1:2. They easily score goals but
concede even easier. Goals would be a very good option in this match but with
the recent developments the coach will have a lot of work in this match.
On
monday practice a couple of players got injured and remain serious doubts for
this match. Mikael
Uhre(att.11-4, first scorer), Simon Poulsen(def.10-1), Troels Kløve(mid.11-1)
and Niki Zimling(mid.10-1) are all questionable but Uhre and Zimling are
unlikely to be ready. When we add the suspended defender Luijck(11-3) it doesn`t
look good for the hosts.
Midtjylland
is playing pretty hot and cold this season but have won 7 thus far and lost 3.
Things have picked up a bit recently as the coach adjusted to playing 3-4-3
which looks the right move. Midtjylland is far more dangerous offensively and
they scored 12 goals in the last 3 matches taking all 3 wins and with a win in
the cup it is 4 in a row. The last loss came away to FCK in a thrilling 4:3
match. The visitors are now second on the table with 22 points and look a
serious contender.
If
they could tighten defensively that pretty bad 2-0-3 away from home should look
much better soon. The attack on the other hand with the killer trio
of Hassan, Onuachu and Sørloth looks unstopable. The last two have 13
goals scored between them and are in good form.
Midtjylland
also has some missings as Sparv(mid.11-0) is suspended, Nicolaisen(def.0-0) is
injured and midfielder Kroon(6-1) questionable.

at the h2h things don`t look good for the visitors but with some serious
