For me this is a real no-brainer. There is a huge difference between the two teams, Nocerina are newly promoted team that wasnt able to reinforce their team and will surely relegate into Pro League and Sassuolo are a small but very solid team which has great plans for the season. They are working on project promotion to Serie A and will surely be one of the top 5 teams in the end of the season. They are playing a tight football, good defence and dangerous front.
So far, Sassuolo are doing great: they are currently 3rd and have one of the best away records: only one loss in 10 games, with 5 wins and 4 draws. I simply cant see them losing.
On the other side, Nocerina are a team totally out of form, with the worst defence in the league and with 1 win and 7 losses in home games. In all last 10 games they recieved at least 2 goals which in my opinion means, they cant win against a team like Sassuolo (they have average of received goals less thn 0,7 per game).
Sassuolo have their best team on disposal, that is enough for me to trust them: my call here is 1-4 away win!

Quarter-finales of Coupe de la Ligue
Lyon\'s defence not functioning well lately. In second part of december they recive against Evian (2-1), Valenciennes (0-1) and in last game, 2 days ago against 4th league club Lyon-Duchere (3-1) in Coupe de France. They didnt recive only in friendly against Bastia (2-0). Main reason are missing important defenders: Cris (10/0) Bakary Kone (16/1), John Mensah(1/0) are preparing for African Cup of Nations. Dejan Lovren (13/0) and Anthony Reveillere (19/0) are injurie doubts and probably will not play this game (even they get gree light from doctor, championship is main target). So, central defensive duo probably will be Samuel Umtiti (0/0) and Maxime Gonalons (16/1 - he is defensive midfilder). Championship is for few days and they have lot of problems. So, if they wanna win, they must attack. And they have attacking potential, Lisandro Lopes is back, scored hat-trick in Coupe de France two days ago. He will probably wait his chance from bench and three strikers will be Jimmy Briand-Lacazette-Bafetimbi Gomis. So, there is no other way for wictory than attack.
Lille droped from Euro competitions so they will now turn around to the championship and cups. They have greath squad, powerfull midfield and strong attacking potential. ofensive midfilder Hazard and striker Sow could score always, also there are some players from second plan. Their defence was good but they disspointed me in december, playing league game home against Nice, need victory, Nica had injurie problems and they played 4-4. Big mistakes in defence i will remember. They also played this round Coupe de France, have poor opponents Chantilly and easy won with mixed squad (Joe Cole scored hat-trick, Jelen 2 goals and Hazard from penalty). For this game they cant count on Tulio De Melo (att, 4/0) and Beria (df, 19/0) while is Basa (df, 15/2) doubtful (but probably will be ok). They have important weekend game with Merseille but i belivetheire is no chance for calculating with squad.

Querter finals of Coupe de la Ligue between Caen and Marseille.
I give big advantage to guests from Marseille and see them as very motivated side to win this game, and maybe win the Cup this year. This feeling improves me more since they are struggling in La Ligue on possition 6 at the moment, pretty away from the leaders. But Olympique's form in last 5 games gives me belief in them for this match. They made 4 wins and 1 draw and they come to Caen after demolishing on saturday National team of Red Star by 5:0 as guests. Its good days in Marseille and positive atmosphere, Deschamps confirmed return of Brandao and he migh be available for game against Lille on Sunday.
Caen is 14th in Ligue 1. Their form is going down. After 4 losses (with Marseille's win in beggining of December by 1:2 as guests) they managed to draw 0:0 to Lorient and then they got knocked out to Troyes at home in other competition, Coupe de France by 2:4 in overtime. They were loosing half time 0:2 then managed to draw 2:2 at the end of 90th minute. Today they will miss good players and will travel with some young guys. Attackers Niang (15/1) and Frau (17/4), goalkeeper Perquis (long term injury), defender Vandam (18/1) and middfielder Deroin (3/0) are all injured for this match. They will also miss one more key defender Heurtaux (17/3) due suspension.
With this problems of home team, I believe in experienced and motivated side of O. Marseille should win this with not many problems.
Villareal - Valencia

Villareal are in all kinds of troubles, their best players are linked with some other teams and could leave and ex semifinalists of Champions league are currently inside relegation zone. A small team from the past is obviously going to be small again... like Celta, who once played Europe and are now in Segunda...
Villareal took some steps to improve situation and of course, they brought new coach. But this time I doubt if he will be effective right at the start. Molina is a good coach but will have huge problems with bad climate in the team. Also, hi has a »Villareal curse« on his shoulders: last coach which won his first game in charge was Paquito, 14 years ago, since then, 5 managers were not succesfull... also, he will need to start without 5 first team players, including Rossi...
On the other side, Valencia is very consistant this season, they are currently third in the league and are coming off 1-0 win over Sevilla in Copa del Rey. That win should be at least 2-0, Valencia was a lot better than Sevilla.
Finally, you probably know that this is a local Derby, Valencia will have good support, they are the better team and are in great form: my call is 0-2 away win!

This is an interesting match: Sassuolo are a team from small town in Emilio- Romagna and they play their home games in Modena. A typical story of an overconfident team in hands of a local mogul, which has great goals for the future, but as we saw on many such examples in a decade or so they will surely dissapear from football map (like it happened with Castel di Sangro and similar teams). Still, they are now on their high, playing Serie B football and dreaming of Serie A. They are well organized and have a young, eager coach. That could end well this season, Sassuolo are currently on 3rd place, one point behind direct promotion. Form is good and at home they are strong.
On the other side, Juve Stabia are a team that played 3rd and 4th tier football in last 2-3 decades, but managed to promote to Serie B for the first time since 70ties. They are also a team that is currently best of all promoted sides and are a real surprise of the season so far. Still, this is a typical story of the first season in higher league, they are motivated, but at about this time, such teams start to feel the hardship and the level of football they are now parts of. Juve Stabia also had a lot of luck with their schedule, practically all wins came against bottom teams and against stronger, they mainly took draws or lost games.
There is no doubt in my mind about where lies the quality between these two teams. Odds on Sassuolo are incredible, it is a part of the season they will now attack top two places and will need to win such games to achieve the aim. Sassuolo have a good, solid team, they are in form and I expect a clear home win: my call is 2-0!
